The HS-M700 is one of very few multimedia eReader devices designed to be light on your pocket. It supports EPUB, PDF and FB ebooks which can all be freely found online.
The main thing to note is that your books need to be Non-Copyright Protected(DRM) and in one of the above listed formats to work on the player.
The following websites can be used to download Free Ebooks:

How do I put books on my HS-M701 / HS-M702 E-Reader?
For books that are DRM enabled (copy-protected): You need to download the book to your computer first, and then use Adobe Digital Edition to transfer the file onto the device. Adobe Digital Edition desktop software is available for free at http://www.adobe.com/products/digitaleditions/. You can learn more about this software on their FAQ page http://www.adobe.com/products/digitaleditions/faq/.
NOTE: Books you purchase online and from the public library are usually DRM-enabled.
For books that are not DRM enabled:
You need to download the book to your computer first, and then copy the file to the “Removable Disk”. This will transfer the file onto the device.
For a complete list of compatible files your device will accept, please refer to the user manual.
Can I install Android Apps on the M702 Wifi E-Reader?
You can install Android Apps on this eReader. However, as we market the device as an E-Reader with WiFi, we do not provide application support.
If you run into complications with the Unit due to application installation, you will void the Manufacturer’s Warranty as ONLY the base device is supported.
If you need to restore the device back to factory default, you can follow these step:
NOTE: Factory data reset will clear the device's memory and put the device back to the original factory default state. Use as a last resort. This however does not erase SD card information, nor does it erase bundled applications that came with the device.
From the home screen of your device, tap the Menu column (Red Triangle) to open the application menu.
Tap Settings.
Scroll down and tap Privacy.
Scroll down and tap Factory data reset.
Tap Reset device, confirm to execute
